We listen to our community and after receiving requests from authors and illustrators, we now offer a service to our InteractPublisher members to publish any InteractBook directly to the iTunes marketplace as an app. The cost of publishing an InteractBook as a stand alone app is: $995 for each InteractBook.
The app will be published under the InteractBooks name and users will be able to search the app store to find books directly. The books will also still be published in the InteractBooks store doubling your exposure and providing you with greater marketing opportunities. You will also be able to link directly to your app from your web site and other internet sources.
We realize this service is not for everyone. With over 500,000 apps already in the app store, some may feel it is not worth spending the extra money. However, for those willing to spend the right amount of time and money to advertise your interactive books, it may be beneficial to have your app published in this way. Our reason for charging $995 for this service, is to cover our time that it takes to compile, review, edit, process and submit each individual book as a stand alone app. In fact most developers charge several times more to develop an app from scratch.
The $995 will not only place you directly in the iTunes store but early next year you will also be published as an app in the Amazon Kindle Fire Store, the Nook Color and Nook Tablet store and the Microsoft store. There is a lot of value in this.
